Our Firm

Having honed their skills both in public service and in larger regional law firms, in 2000 Joseph Gunderson and Rex Sharp decided to form a law firm to serve the needs of consumers and businesses across the Midwest. Over the years the firm's practice has grown; we have retained the personal touch that a small law firm can provide while gathering together the resources necessary to experience successes with our clients.

Gunderson, Sharp & Walke, LLP focuses on one thing -- litigation. With offices in Iowa, Kansas and Texas, we are able to provide regional representation to clients situated throughout the Midwest. Combined, our lawyers are licensed to practice in seven different states and appear pro hac vice in matters pending throughout the United States.

Combined, our attorneys have substantial jury trial and litigation experience both at the trial court and appellate levels.

The determination of the need for legal services and the choice of a lawyer are extremely important decisions and should not be based solely upon advertisements or self-proclaimed expertise. This disclosure is required by rule of the Supreme Court of Iowa. Memberships and offices in legal fraternities and legal societies, technical and professional licenses, and memberships in scientific, technical and professional associations and societies of law or field of practice does not mean that a lawyer is a specialist or expert in a field of law, nor does it mean that such lawyer is necessarily any more expert or competent than any other lawyer. All potential clients are urged to make their own independent investigation and evaluation of any lawyer being considered. This notice is required by rule of the Supreme Court of Iowa.
